MaxPreps will serve as the official statistics and results provider for the NFCA's High School Player of the Week program. Each week during the fall season, the NFCA will choose one Player of the Week who had a great week in play to receive the award.

"MaxPreps is extremely proud to be affiliated with the National Fastpitch Coaches Association," said Andy Beal, President, MaxPreps. "The support the NFCA has shown the sport of softball is unmatched and their objectives and mission make them a perfect match for MaxPreps."

Coaches must submit player statistics to MaxPreps in order to make their athlete eligible to win the award.
MaxPreps publishes schedules, scores and standings for each of the nearly 17,900 schools participating in girls softball across the country. MaxPreps also provides high school coaches with team pages, statistical software and a variety of other services, all free of charge.

Based in Louisville, Kentucky, the NFCA will use results and statistics provided by MaxPreps to assist in its Player of the Week program and aid in the site's efforts to become America's resource for softball information.
