Softball Recap: Kasson-Mantorville Comes Up Short

Kasson-Mantorville was the 10-6 winner over Austin when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Komets fell just short of the Packers by a score of 10-9 on Friday. The Komets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kasson-Mantorville's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Austin, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Kasson-Mantorville will venture away from home to square off against Lake City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Austin, they will welcome John Marshall at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
