Cinco Ranch is a perfect 4-0 against Jordan since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cinco Ranch Cougars will venture away from home to face off against the Jordan Warriors at 6:15 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Cinco Ranch took on Spring on Thursday. Cinco Ranch walked away with a 10-6 win over Spring. Considering the Cougars' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Jordan had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it nine on Tuesday. They blew past the Mavericks 19-1. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.

Carson Jansky was a standout: she fired off two home runs and three runs while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in home runs. Madeline Jovanovic was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Jordan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .348 or higher in three consecutive games.

Cinco Ranch's record is now 3-7. As for Jordan, their record now sits at 10-1.

Cinco Ranch took their victory against Jordan in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cinco Ranch since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
