Recap: McCook vs. Beatrice
Everything went McCook's way against Beatrice on Friday as the team secured a 63-3 win. The margin was wide but not a surprise since McCook are ranked far ahead of Beatrice in the MaxPreps state rankings.
McCook's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 49 points in the first half. Beatrice put up 3, so the score was 49-3 at the half. The McCook defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the contest. The victory bumped their record up to 4-0. Beatrice are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
McCook will stay at home next week against Lexington at 7:00 PM. As for Beatrice, they will face off against York. Beatrice come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
