Softball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the Southwestern Randolph Cougars. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 15-0 to the Cougars when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Southwestern Randolph, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Trinity wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-8 victory against High Point Central on the 12th. As for Southwestern Randolph, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 win against North Davidson on the 12th.
