Meanwhile, Wheeler suffered a tough 42-21 defeat at the hands of Lyman Memorial on Thursday. Wheeler has struggled against Lyman Memorial recently, as their contest on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Old Lyme's win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-0. As for Wheeler, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
