Chaska won the last time they faced Southwest Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hawks walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Stars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Southwest Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Sophia McIntosh and Evelyn Harsh. McIntosh had six digs and two aces, while Harsh had 15 assists and seven digs. McIntosh has been hot, having also posted 14 or more assists the last seven times she's played. Natalie Hoekman also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Chaska's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Southwest Christian, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-8.

Chaska didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Waconia on the 9th. As for Southwest Christian, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Jordan on the 7th.
