Volleyball Recap: Center Takes a Loss

Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Placer Hillmen.

Center's offense was headlined by Chase Brooks and Emilio Giles, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Julio Inguanzo Lopez and his 12 assists. Finally, Joshua Arceo kept Center's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Center's record is now 3-9. As for Placer, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Center didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Christian Brothers on the 22nd. As for Placer, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Lodi on the 22nd.
