Football Recap: Holy Cross Knights vs. New Braunfels Christian Academy Wildcats
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Holy Cross). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the New Braunfels Christian Academy Wildcats 42-7. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.
Taylor Flores continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 181 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 127 rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Rocky Orozco, who rushed for 32 yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Holy Cross was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 314 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.
