Basketball Recap: Fox Chapel Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

Fox Chapel won the last time they faced North Hills and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Fox Chapel Foxes sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 54-52 win over the North Hills Indians. Given the Foxes' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Indians are ranked 432nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fox Chapel was led to victory by Caden Kaiser and Grant Fenton. Kaiser went 8 of 11 on his way to 16 points and five assists, while Fenton went 6 of 7 on his way to 17 points. The dominant performance also gave Fenton a new career-high in rebounds (four). John Rehak was another key player, putting up nine points.

Fox Chapel pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for North Hills, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Fox Chapel will take on New Castle at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Hills, they will square off against North Allegheny at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
