Softball Recap: William Monroe Takes a Loss

William Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 4-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

William Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Harrisonburg, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. William Monroe will face off against Broadway at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harrisonburg, they will host Spotswood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
