Volleyball Recap: Rocky Mountain Lutheran Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Rocky Mountain Lutheran lost against Denver Waldorf two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Spartans. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Rocky Mountain Lutheran ultimately came up short, they really made Denver Waldorf work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 21-25, 25-23, 25-19.

Izzy Curtis paced Rocky Mountain Lutheran's offense, picking up 15 kills. Curtis got some help from Alyiah Trujillo and her 14 assists. Sofia Meza-Villa controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Rocky Mountain Lutheran now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Denver Waldorf, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Rocky Mountain Lutheran will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Denver Jewish Day at 6:15 p.m. on the 21st. As for Denver Waldorf, they will venture away from home to take on Beth Eden Baptist at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
