Basketball Recap: Shenandoah Comes Up Short

Shenandoah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 65-46 to the Lewis Central Titans. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 240th, while the Titans are ranked 103rd).

Shenandoah's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Lewis Central, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Shenandoah will face off against Earlham at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lewis Central, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, an 89-47 loss against Norris on the 25th.
