Parker Backstrom continued his hot streak on Saturday by dropping his fifth-straight game with a field goal percentage of at least 0.57. He posted eight points along with 12 boards and six blocks, which was good enough to set a new career-high in blocks. He has become a key player for Cook County: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least three blocks, but 8-10 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Backstrom and Cook County will challenge Two Harbors at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Backstrom will face off against Jace Ruberg, the Agates' star forward.
