Basketball Recap: Brewster Comes Up Short

Brewster lost against Poughkeepsie last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bears were outmatched by the Pioneers and fell 72-44.

Brewster's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Poughkeepsie, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Brewster and Poughkeepsie will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Bears see the court they'll take on Ketcham at 6:15 p.m. on January 21, 2026. As for Poughkeepsie, their break will end when they face Carmel at 6:45 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
