Baseball Recap: Malcolm's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, Malcolm finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Platteview Trojans by a score of 1-0. The loss was the Clippers' first of the season.

Malcolm saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Mcgreer, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.

Having lost for the first time this season, Malcolm fell to 3-1. As for Platteview, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Malcolm will square off against rival Wayne on Friday. Meanwhile, Platteview is set to challenge their familiar foe Blair at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
