Softball Game Preview: St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers vs. Branchville Yellow Jackets

The St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers are taking a road trip to square off against the Branchville Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

St. John's Christian Academy lost 20-7 to Dorchester Academy last Friday.

St. John's Christian Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Willis, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Anna Grace Stephens was another, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 15 runs the game before, Branchville was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against Barnwell, falling 8-1. The game marked the Yellow Jackets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Branchville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for St. John's Christian Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
