Soccer Recap: Airport Takes a Loss

Airport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the White Knoll Timberwolves. Airport were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as White Knoll apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2022.

Airport's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for White Knoll, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-14.

Coming up, Airport will venture away from home to square off against Brookland-Cayce at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for White Knoll, they will host Saluda at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. White Knoll's defense better be ready for this one: Saluda have averaged an impressive 2.6 goals per game this season.
