Football Game Recap: Lakeview vs. Mansfield

Mansfield made easy work of Lakeview on Friday and carried off a 36-6 win. That's another feather in the cap for Mansfield, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Mansfield's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 30 first-half points. Meanwhile, Lakeview couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 30-0 heading into the break. The Mansfield defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the match. The victory bumped Mansfield's record up to 3-2. Lakeview are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.

Mansfield will take on D'Arbonne Woods at home at 7:00 PM next week. D'Arbonne Woods took a loss in their last contest and are no doubt out to reverse Mansfield's good fortune. As for Lakeview, they will face off against Holy Savior Menard. Neither of these teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable loss.
