Football Game Preview: Cokeville Panthers vs. Lovell Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Cokeville Panthers will face off against the Lovell Bulldogs at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Cokeville is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wyoming's top teams: Worland, who was ranked 23rd at the time (Cokeville was ranked 12th). The Panthers were the clear victors by a 41-19 margin over the Warriors on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lovell). They claimed a resounding 48-2 victory over Kemmerer. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Rangers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Lovell's win came from a few key players Cokeville will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kyson Crosby, who threw for 201 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 51 yards on only five carries. Those rushing yards marked the first that he has rushed for this season. Lovell's leading receiver Owen Walker was Crosby's top target yet again, picking up 131 receiving yards and a pair of scores, while also punching in one touchdown on the ground.

Lovell's run defense was locked in: Kemmerer could only muster 0.3 yards per carry. The Bulldogs didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.7.

Lovell's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Cokeville, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
