West Liberty-Salem entered their tilt with Catholic Central on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Irish 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant West Liberty-Salem was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-11, 25-10.

Among those leading the charge was Sophia Landon, who had 11 assists and six digs. Kiersten Stoll also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

West Liberty-Salem was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in three consecutive games.

West Liberty-Salem's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Catholic Central, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
