Football Game Preview: Cordova Lancers vs. Destiny Christian Academy Lions + How To Watch

The Cordova Lancers are taking a road trip to face off against the Destiny Christian Academy Lions at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Cordova has given up an average of 31.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cordova came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 42-8 loss at the hands of Antelope. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, the Lancers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Destiny Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Grant and fell 42-6. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while the Pacers are ranked 37th).

Cordova now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Destiny Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Cordova took a serious blow against Destiny Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 49-0. Can the Lancers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
