Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Andrews). They blew past the Summit Charter Bears 98-27 on Tuesday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 62-18.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Andrews to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ty Clark, who shot 5-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Braxton Rickett, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds.
Andrews smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive games.
Summit Charter lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Chance Wilson, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of August Stewart-Payne, who scored nine points.
