Softball Recap: Westminster Christian Academy Victorious

Westminster Christian Academy proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Elkmont Red Devils, sneaking past 4-2. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Westminster Christian Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Elkmont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up. As for Elkmont, they will take on Brewer at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
