Football Recap: Harrells Christian Academy's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Harrells Christian Academy dropped to 8-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins on the road. They fell 29-20 to Trinity Christian. The matchup marked Harrells Christian Academy's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Harrells Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Dashaun McKoy, who picked up 101 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 70 yards. McKoy also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble, making four total tackles, and defending two passes.

As for Trinity Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 29.4 points over those games.

Trinity Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Amir Jackson out in front who rushed for 88 yards and one TD on only 12 carries. That's the most rushing yards Jackson has posted since back in August.
