Basketball Recap: University Beats Atlantic for Their Third Straight Victory

University had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 52-45 win over the Atlantic Sharks. This was a revenge game for the Titans: when they faced off against the Sharks back in November, they had to take a 58-34 loss.

University now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Atlantic, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Father Lopez at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Atlantic, they will head out to challenge First Baptist Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. First Baptist Christian Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Atlantic surely won't give up without a fight.
