Basketball Recap: Grayville Takes a Loss

Grayville was the 60-43 winner over Farina South Central when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Grayville Bison were dealt a 64-31 defeat at the hands of the Farina South Central Cougars on Thursday. The game marked the Bison's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Grayville had strong showings from Zeke Roosevelt, who posted 11 points, and Zach Leavens, who put up 11 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Grayville and nudges their season record down to 7-6. As for Farina South Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City the next time they take the court. Grayville will head out to face Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, while Farina South Central will play them later in the day, at 2:30 p.m.
