Volleyball Recap: Del Norte's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

If Del Norte was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Rocky Ford last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Ignacio Bobcats on Thursday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 17-25, 25-12, 25-11.

Having lost for the first time this season, Del Norte fell to 2-1. As for Ignacio, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Del Norte will take on Custer County at 5:30 p.m. on September 5. As for Ignacio, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Mancos at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
