Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Strasburg). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Stonewall Jackson Generals 66-18. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 171st, while the Generals are ranked 354th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory (which was Strasburg's third in a row) raised their record to 8-5. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points per game. As for Stonewall Jackson, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the loss, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.

Strasburg will square off against Page County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Stonewall Jackson, they will venture away from home to square off against Central Woodstock at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
