Columbia and Oberlin are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The Columbia Raiders will square off against the Oberlin The Phoenix at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Columbia will be strutting in after a win while Oberlin will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Columbia didn't have too much trouble with Orrville as they won 70-52. The victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Red Riders: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Oberlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-52 heartbreaker at the hands of Port Clinton.

Oberlin's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Columbia, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Columbia strolled past Oberlin in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 61-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Columbia since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
