Basketball Recap: Flint River Academy Comes Up Short

Flint River Academy lost against Twiggs Academy last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Flint River Academy Wildcats fell just short of the Twiggs Academy Trojans by a score of 45-42. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Flint River Academy still got an impressive performance from Reagan Riner, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 boards. Another player making a difference was Kinsley Martin, who posted nine points.

Flint River Academy's record now sits at 1-3. As for Twiggs Academy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-6.

Flint River Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Windsor Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Windsor Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Twiggs Academy, they and Crisp Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
