Football Recap: McFarland Cougars vs. Parlier Panthers        
        
		
             There's no place like home for McFarland, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  two weeks ago. They came out on top against the Parlier Panthers by a score of  37-24  on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their six-point performance the  contest before.
 It was another big night for  Sebastian San Juan Concha, who rushed for 188 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. He has become a key player for McFarland: the team is 3-1 when he posts  at  least  two  rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Jorge Hernandez-Galvan, who rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown.
 He was just one part of a punishing run game: McFarland was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 339  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.

 The  victory snapped McFarland's losing streak at four games  and leaves them with a 3-4 record. As for Parlier, their defeat was  their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-7.
 McFarland will host Yosemite  at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Parlier, they will venture away from home to  take on Liberty  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
