Basketball Game Preview: The Meadows School Mustangs vs. Basic Wolves

The Meadows School Mustangs will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Basic Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Meadows School will be strutting in after a victory while Basic will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, The Meadows School didn't have too much trouble with Green Valley as they won 48-33. The win continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Gators: they've now won three in a row.

Basic kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by Somerset Academy Losee 68-26. The Wolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-12.

Despite the defeat, Basic saw an underclassman step up: sophomore TJ Edmond posted four points and 11 boards.
