Baseball Recap: East Chapel Hill Takes a Loss

East Chapel Hill came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Orange Panthers, falling 7-1. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 13-1 to the Panthers when the teams met back in February of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

East Chapel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Orange, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, East Chapel Hill will venture away from home to challenge Green Hope at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. East Chapel Hill hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse. As for Orange, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jordan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
