Basketball Game Preview: LaBrae Vikings vs. Newton Falls Tigers

LaBrae and Newton Falls are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The LaBrae Vikings will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Newton Falls Tigers at 6:30 p.m. LaBrae will be strutting in after a victory while Newton Falls will be coming in after a defeat.

LaBrae is returning home triumphant after the team finally put their road woes behind them against Windham on Monday. LaBrae blew past Windham 53-9. The matchup marked the Vikings' most dominant win of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Newton Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Southeast, falling 48-23.

LaBrae now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Newton Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

LaBrae beat Newton Falls 44-31 when the teams last played back in January. Will LaBrae repeat their success, or does Newton Falls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
