There's no place like home for Magnolia West, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Klein Bearkats on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mustangs have posted since August 29th.

Magnolia West was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-17, 20-25, 25-23, 15-5.

Magnolia West is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-16 record this season. As for Klein, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-18.

Coincidentally, Magnolia West and Klein will both be playing Klein Oak the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bearkats will host them at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
