Softball Game Preview: Hempstead Mustangs vs. Cedar Falls Tigers

The Hempstead Mustangs will challenge the Cedar Falls Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Hempstead comes in on three and Cedar Falls on seven.

Hempstead's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Decorah-North Winneshiek with a sharp 10-0 win.

Meanwhile, Cedar Falls made easy work of Waterloo East on Monday and carried off a 17-0 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by eight runs or more this season.

Hempstead's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Cedar Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
