After each having a week off, the Owasso Rams and the Broken Arrow Tigers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Owasso is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oklahoma's top teams: Charles Page, who was ranked 23rd at the time (Owasso was ranked fourth). The Rams simply couldn't be stopped two weeks ago as they easily beat the Sandites 45-17. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Rams had established a 25-point advantage.

Owasso's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayden Hall led the charge by rushing for 187 yards while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Hall's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 117 rushing yards dating back to last season. Julius Wilson was another key player, rushing for 140 yards.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Owasso proved: they limited Charles Page to a paltry -0.7 yards per carry. The team can thank Ryder Karn for the heroic effort on defense: he. Owasso didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 11.4.
Owasso's defense also made the game a nightmare for Easton Webb., racking up ten sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Karn and Ben Duggins, who racked up four sacks between them.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Broken Arrow, who bounced back after a loss on the road on September 5th. They walked away with a 21-14 win over Mustang two weeks ago.
Broken Arrow's win came from a few key players Owasso will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Octavian Roberson, who rushed for 149 yards. Broken Arrow also got help from Samaj Stanford, who showed off his sure hands for 96 receiving yards.
Broken Arrow now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Owasso, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
Everything came up roses for Owasso against Broken Arrow in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 49-21 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Roberson, who rushed for 107 yards and a pair of scores on only 12 carries.
