King George is 0-3 against Hanover since April of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Foxes will welcome the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. King George is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.
On Thursday, King George needed a bit of extra time to put away Eastern View. They skirted past the Cyclones 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Foxes have posted since April 11, 2024.

Kelsea Minter spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on nine hits and racked up 12 Ks. Those 12 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kallie Slovack, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Meanwhile, Hanover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-8 to New Kent. On the bright side, the eight- run effort marked the Hawks' highest-scoring match to date.
Kaycee Doughty was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI.
Hanover's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for King George, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Hanover's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. King George has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.6 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Hanover, though, as they've been averaging only 3.2 strikeouts. Will King George keep running through batters, or will the Hawks buck the trend?
