Basketball Recap: Glenelg Comes Up Short

Glenelg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 34-30 heartbreaker at the hands of the Wilde Lake Wildecats. The Gladiators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildecats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Glenelg's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Wilde Lake, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.

Coming up, Glenelg will face off against North East at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wilde Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
