Basketball Recap: Hancock County Comes Up Short

Hancock County lost against Ohio County last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hancock County Hornets might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 46-42 to the Ohio County Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Hornets just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Hancock County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Ohio County, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hancock County will face off against Grayson County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hancock County is on a three-game streak of home wins, Grayson County a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Ohio County, they will take on Russellville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ohio County is facing Russellville at the right time seeing as Russellville is stuck on an 18-game losing streak.
