Basketball Recap: Crete-Monee Takes a Loss

Crete-Monee suffered their closest defeat since January 22nd on Thursday. They fell just short of the Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves by a score of 32-30. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-44 on December 7th.

Crete-Monee is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6. As for Thornton Fractional South, they moved to 11-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Crete-Monee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-35 loss against Simeon on the 26th. Thornton Fractional South has also already played their next contest, a 66-39 defeat against Bolingbrook on the 26th.
