Rutherford skates past West Florida with ease

Recap: Rutherford Rams vs. West Florida Jaguars
The Rutherford Rams stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They breezed by West Florida on the road to the tune of 65-28. The victory was nothing new for Rutherford as they're now sitting on 14 straight.
Shakirah Edwards continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points along with eight assists and seven steals. That's the first time this season that she posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayonnie Houston, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Rutherford's victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for West Florida, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rutherford will challenge Ribault at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Ribault focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 last Saturday. West Florida won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pensacola at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th.
