Volleyball Recap: Monroe-Woodbury Takes a Loss

Monroe-Woodbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pine Bush Bushmen. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bushmen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Monroe-Woodbury's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Pine Bush, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5-1 record this season.

Monroe-Woodbury has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Warwick on the 17th. As for Pine Bush, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Goshen Central at 6:00 p.m.
