Recap: Pueblo County Hornets vs. Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs
The Pueblo County Hornets won the last time they faced the Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Pueblo County strolled past Pueblo Centennial with points to spare, taking the game 62-48.
Pueblo County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Johnathan Gonzales out in front who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Mauro, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Pueblo County's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Pueblo Centennial, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-6.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Pueblo South the next time they take the court. Pueblo Centennial will head out to face Pueblo South at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Pueblo County will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
