IMG Academy Black waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Arrowhead Christian Eagles as they made off with a 16-6 victory. Considering the Ascenders have won nine contests by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Frankie Thomas was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sebastian Wilson, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

IMG Academy Black's win bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Arrowhead Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

IMG Academy Black has already played their next game, a 15-2 victory against Grissom on the 21st. As for Arrowhead Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 7-5 defeat against Briarcrest Christian on the 22nd.
