Whetstone had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Northland Vikings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Monday.

Whetstone had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 26-24, 25-16, 25-8.

Whetstone pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Northland, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Whetstone will challenge rival Centennial at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Northland is set to take on their familiar foe Tree of Life Christian at 5:30 p.m. on the 28th.
