Softball Recap: Fort Stockton Comes Up Short

Fort Stockton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 8-5 to the Seminole Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-8 back in March.

Fort Stockton now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Seminole, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Fort Stockton will take on rival Monahans at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Seminole is set to challenge their familiar foe Greenwood at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
