If Roybal was riding high fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Mendez last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans lost 16-1 to the Marquez Gladiators on Monday. The Titans' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Roybal saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Glenda Toc, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Roybal's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Marquez, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1.

Roybal didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-0 victory against Robert F. Kennedy Community on the 10th. As for Marquez, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 22-0 win against Sotomayor on the 9th.
