Basketball Recap: Littleton Takes a Loss

Littleton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 47-35 to the Ayer Shirley Panthers. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Littleton's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Ayer Shirley, the victory was the 19th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-1.

Looking ahead, Littleton will take on Auburn at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Auburn will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Littleton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ayer Shirley, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 56-50 victory against Maynard on the 15th.
